Current position
The primary vote is rising to 15–16%, at 15 in Resolve and 16 in Redbridge AFR . Sandell calls this the party’s “biggest” campaign. Policy platform
The Greens would spend $300m on 10 state-owned supermarkets, five in metro areas and five regional, selling essentials 30% cheaper. They would also boost the Essential Services Commission’s price caps ABC . They promise $1bn over four years for community safety, including 24/7 health and social-worker crisis teams and a Mamdani-style Office of Community Safety ABC . They want public transport to stay permanently free. They would freeze rents, then cap increases at wage growth or inflation. Their $18bn “Fair Share” plan would be paid for by higher bank and gambling taxes. They target 100% renewables by 2030, and they would restore $2.4bn in public-school funding Election Tracker .
Recent results
