Regulator reduces Victorian default electricity prices

Victorian Default Offer (VDO) 2026-27 (from 1 July 2026): residential down avg 5% (-$84) to $1,591; small business down 6% (-$241) to $3,380. Zone changes: AusNet -8% (households), CitiPower -4%, Jemena -4%, Powercor -4%, United Energy -3%. ~512,000 households (17%) and 62,000 small businesses (21%) are on the VDO.
